Questions

Uploads are deleted after 24 hours, you can delete them sooner, and your images are never used to train AI models.

What can I upload?

To vectorize: PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, BMP or GIF images. You can also paste an image, or, once you're logged in, paste the address of an image on the web. My drawings keeps PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF or SVG files up to 10 MB.

How large can the image be?

Up to 200 MB and 100 megapixels per image. Large images take longer to vectorize. Images with more pixels open a crop step first, where you crop or scale them down.

What does it cost?

Uploading, tracing, re-tracing and editing by hand are free. Free accounts get 10 credits once their email is verified; Pro gives 120 credits a month. A drawing from a description or an AI edit uses 1 credit at Low quality, 3 at Standard. Downloading needs Pro, and each new version or format you download uses 1 credit; the same one again is free.

Which formats can I download?

SVG, PDF, EPS, DXF and PNG. Switching formats converts the current drawing; it doesn't trace again.

Can I edit the result?

Yes. Studio lets you change the trace settings with a live preview, recolor or delete shapes, merge similar colors, and, with Pro, download the result as SVG, PNG, PDF, EPS or DXF. Every step can be undone.

Why does my photo look wrong?

Photos and soft gradients turn into thousands of flat shapes. Adaver is built for logos, icons and flat illustrations, where a few solid colors become a few clean shapes.

How long do you keep my files?

Conversions are deleted 24 hours after they are made: the original, every version and all exports. You can delete them sooner from Studio. Drawings in My drawings, such as the ones you make from a description, stay until you delete them.

Are my images used for training?

No. Your images and drawings are never used to train AI models. Uploads go through an automatic safety check (Microsoft Azure AI Content Safety) before they are traced, and Ask AI sends your drawing to the image model to make the edit.

What happens if a description is refused?

Some requests are blocked by our content rules. The first refused request in an hour is free; after that a refused request costs its credits. Several refusals in a row pause new drawings for 30 minutes, and repeated attempts pause the account until we review it. We keep the text of refused requests for 30 days to review them, then delete it.
